It’s here!! My first ever order from Sephora, the limited edition Too Faced ‘The Power Of Makeup’ Palette by NikkieTutorials. Too Faced palettes always have beautiful packaging, but this has to be the prettiest palette I own. Nikkie is just amazing, I love her personality and I find her videos so inspiring! As soon as she released her video showing this palette in collaboration with Too Faced on her channel I just knew I had to have it. I’m so happy with it and I cannot wait to start using it! ♡
The packaging is so beautiful, (I mean, you can’t really go wrong with pink leopard print packaging can you) and everything is so cute! Inside the box, along with the palette, you get a bag containing some extra goodies too!
The palette consists of:
- Ivy (Beige)
- Sugar Coated (Pink)
- Frosted Yum (Silver)
- Irresistible (Gold)
- Painkiller (Taupe)
- Makeup & Chill (Brown)
- Mystic Hour (Teal)
- Wham Bam (Purple)
- Wanted (Black)
- I Will Always Love You (Blush)
- Justify My Love (Blush)
- Chocolate Soleil Bronzer (Bronzer)
- Champagne Truffle (Highlighter)
The extra goodies include:
- Glitterally (Glitter)
- Shadow Insurance (Primer, 0.17 oz.)
- Mini Better Than Sex Mascara in Purple
- Sketch Marker (Black Liquid Art Eyeliner)
I have to mention how amazing the shades Painkiller and Makeup & Chill are, for me they’re the 2 best shades in the palette. I mean, I adore the entire collection but those 2 shades are literally the perfect shades to use as your transition colour! It would be great if they were made available to buy seperately (I shall keep my eyes peeled!)
All of the shades in this palette are seriously pigmented and are so easy to work with. The palette has a faint smell of chocolate which I think is a lovely touch, and the 2 little mini blushers are just the cutest. I’d never tried a Too Faced blush before but in the look below I used ‘I Will Always Love You’ and it has already become a shade I know I will be buying seperately! I can now totally understand the hype surrounding Too Faced Chocolate Soleil bronzer too, it’s such a good contour shade for paler skintones (like mine) and it blends perfectly!
Here is a look I created using Ivy all over the lids, and Painkiller, Makeup & Chill and Wanted for the upper crease, carved out with Collection’s Lasting Perfection Concealer in Fair. I then used Frosted Yum on the inner lids blended with Wham Bam on the centre of the lids. Then using Kat Von D liquid liner in Trooper (perfect for creating a flick as it has a tiny tip) I created a long cat flick and then filled in the rest of the flick in with the Sketch Marker from The Power Of Makeup collection. I blended the flick in with the purple using Wanted. For a touch of sparkle, crucial in my opinion, I used KIKO’s Glitter Eyeliner in 01 through the cut crease to act as an adhesive for Glitterally to stick to.
After creating the above look, which I have to say is one of my favourite looks I’ve ever done, I would definitely recommend this palette and I honestly think it’s great value for money with the fact you get 9 shadows, 2 blushers, a bronzer, a highlighter, glitter, liquid liner, Shadow Insurance Primer AND a mascara! It’s available to purchase from Debenhams UK online on 28th August and again is limited edition so don’t miss out!
Thanks so much for reading!
